Tribe
group rides are a great opportunity to connect with other riders and
up your riding insights, skills and experience.
The
warm-up portion of every ride is a 'mandatory social'. For us
tri geeks that means, not riding as fast as you can, but getting into
a safe riding structure and getting to know your fellow riders.
Tribe
encourages following all traffic laws (especially in Paradise Valley,
home of the bicyclist ticket hedge fund) and demonstrates defensive
riding skills for everyone's benefit.
Every
ride is a composition of riding abilities and tenure. You can be
pretty much guaranteed to find someone at your level, no matter how
fast - or slow.
Wednesday and Thursday
night rides require lights for participation. We won't make you
wear orange safety vests, but lights are good. A select number
of loaner lights are available at Tribe for use on the ride, but it is
advisable to bring your own equipment.
When an
official Tribe team rider cannot accompany the group, it is your lucky
day - sort of. Tribe offers the "NO FLAT" policy of a free flat
repair should you get one on that day's ride.
